Perhaps you would like to take part in spreading the word about these forgotten plates today among students of figurative and classical art, the talented artists of tomorrow.
If you are considering presenting one of these portfolios to an atelier of your choosing, this offer is for you.
Upon opening the portfolio, the school or atelier that receives your gift will find lithographs measuring 17.2 in x 23.6 in.
They will also discover the cover page with your name on it. See the example below.
Your name will appear, if you wish, on this site which is the support dedicated to this project.

How to become a Donor
In order to raise awareness about the Bargue Encore project and to help it build momentum, we ask our donors to choose an atelier that has not yet been sponsored. If, however, you wish to support an atelier already listed above for personal reasons, we invite you to do so; ateliers are often in need of several similar plates to satisfy as many students. Still, as your gift aims to broaden the interest of these high quality prints, we ask you to consider directing your support to a school that does not yet have a Bargue Encore set.
You can now select an atelier recognized by the Art Renewal Center (ARC). We have adopted this criterion as the ARC offers strict and high quality selection guarantees.
1- Choose an accredited Atelier
Having made your choice, note the details of your chosen atelier and decide on which portfolio you would like to donate to that atelier. In the description below you will see the plates that we will send you to express our thanks for your donation.

During chekout, please indicate the atelier name and adress as delivery adress. We will then contact you for shipping your plates.
2- Now choose one of the three Portfolios on offer
Once you have selected your preferred portfolio, you will be directed to the order page. Information regarding shipping and customs duties will be communicated to you by e-mail. You may cancel your order and be refunded if the total cost exceeds the amount you wish to donate. Please note that these portfolios are the subject of a personalized and special edition of the lithographs. They will be prepared manually for shipping and a certain waiting period should be expected.
Portfolio 1
When you gift 4 (four) 17.3 x 23.6 inch lithographed plates, the Atelier receives a beautiful, black Bargue Encore portfolio containing the plates protected by acid-free tissue paper, a cover page with your name as well as a certificate for each of the 4 prints.
As a donor you will receive:
- The 12.9 x 18 in lithographed plate shown above; the perfect size to frame or store easily
- A duplicate of the cover page received by the Atelier with your name on it, the certificate of the plate, and the course which accompanies the plate in order to appreciate the interest in this academic approach through the eyes of a student. You will also find historical information regarding the Charles Bargue course.
